And, Another One, and another one...

Aah, Tilda Swinton. A talented actress with a penchant for the androgyny aesthetic. She is the cover girl for the issue of Jefferson Hacks' Another Magazine. I can only assume they knew this was their only chance to use her as a canvas for creative imagery. They certainly took full advantage. If you notice most of the garments are cinched at the waist which contradicts Tildas' personal style. Yet the styling is executed wonderfully. Bravo, indeed.

Am I Making Myself Clear

These fashion editorials are from Clear magazine. The first set of photographs entitled "High Contrast" plays on the title with the first image taking on the lighter contrast of the hair, blazer, and accessories. The second image takes on the darker contrast with the black hair, body suit, jacket, and down to the nails.

The second fashion editorial is from Clear magazine entitled "Kaleidoscope". The garment is vivid and bright, while the body and accessories are muted down and treated as a background to showcase the garment, its shape, and detail. Along with the kaleidoscop illustration as its counterpart.

Designer Lookbook -- Sandra Backlund

Sandra Backlund is an up and coming force in the fashion industry. The Swedish native was hand picked by editor extraordinare Franca Sozzani of L'Uomo Vogue. One of my all time favorite editors. Sandras' garments possess a distint editorial element in all of her garments. She respects the silhouette while at the same moment taking risks with form and volume. Skills that only a few have mastered and she is definately one of them.
