NY Fashion Week--The Favorites
Erin Wasson x RVCA
Ladies & Gents... Irina is back! With a fresh new look (The mushroom cut) that only a few people can pull off (and she did)Irina Lazareanu walked down the Erin Wasson x RVCA runway with a bang. The RVCA collection was successful. It oozed an effortless sexuality. The looks were rugged with an air of vulnerablity that the garments along with the models were able to translate. The collection as a whole captured the Erin Wasson persona without losing sight of the RVCA girl. The color palette was right, the models were great, and Erin Wasson's creative vision was spot on! Bravo.

NY Fashion Week--The Favorites

The first day has come and gone. Yet the excitement still lingers. This seasons designers had refreshing perspectives on their image of today's woman. ASDF's favorite collection from that day and now a personal favorite was the Organic by John Patrick presentation. It seemed to capture an essence of an early era that translated so well. The sheer fabrics were paired with subtle prints that radiated a beautiful simplicity. The vivid colors by BCBG Max Azria was shown bright due to the contrasting colors of the black and grey. The silhouettes that L.A.M.B. show had presented had some looks cinched at the waist and others with light floating fabrics hugging the body. This seasons shows definately got the fashion season to a FANTASTIC start!
